A lot of work has to be done by us to make our degree plan a reality. So how come students never seem to worry about filling out those term papers that they get? It would be unfair to judge the professors by the amount of paper they give out, but it sure is easy to understand why they do not do so. The professor has a different opinion than the students about the value of term papers. He just doesn't feel that they are useful for the type of learning he wants to give to his students.Students therefore are left with two options when it comes to writing term papers. They can either keep it to themselves and save it for other classes or they can publish their term papers. Let me tell you something, that is one very hard decision to make because the former option is going to give you a really hard time. It does not matter how much work you put into it, when you give it to some other student, then you are being criticized for something that you did not even do!And that is exactly what is going to happen if you publish your term papers. Other students are going to view your term papers as an insult toyour credibility and the professor's credit. You could be viewed as lazy and not serious about your studies if you do this. This will lead to other students who are serious about the subject to consider your paper worthless.I am not saying that term papers can not be used for official work. There are plenty of instances where students can use them for research and some other things. However, for most students, they tend to be used as long-term study habits. They may write a small summary for their term paper or fill out a few questions to see how they are doing for that particular topic.To be honest, this is what you should do if you want to use term papers for studying. If you do not get a good grade, then you should not be using term papers. If you don't get enough work done, then you do not deserve to be using them at all. What you should do is use them for work in your class or in another class that will benefit you more.Do not be afraid to say 'no' to the professor's grade if you do not get good grades. You can choose a different course to take that will fit your needs better. Write papers for your courses and that will help you increase your knowledge base in a way that is less formal. And it will also add to your portfolio of work you have alread y done.
